The Role

We’re looking for a ServiceNow Developer with an unwavering passion for developing meaningful, easy-to-use applications. Most of the work we do is on large-scale, enterprise-wide systems (both commercial and government)—this project in particular will help ensure the uninterrupted, secure, and compliant operation of critical federal acquisition and assistance systems.

  • You’ll be responsible for development on the ServiceNow Enterprise platform.

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules within enterprise environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance with organizational standards.

  • Implement and support core ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, and custom scoped applications, including workflows, forms, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations.

  • Develop server-side and client-side scripts using JavaScript to extend platform functionality and automate business processes.

  • Support ServiceNow upgrades, patch management, and platform enhancements while maintaining upgrade-safe development practices.

  • Conduct system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning to ensure reliability and high availability.

  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and provide recommendations based on platform best practices.

  • Maintain platform security, including role-based access controls, data governance, and compliance with enterprise security policies.

Role Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or commensurate experience

  • Have 5+ years ServiceNow development and architecture experience in enterprise environments

  • Certified Application Developer Certification

  • Experience with ServiceNow Enterprise and multi-instance management

  • Ability to develop AI-powered automation solutions for incident resolution, knowledge management, and user assistance

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including server-side scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs) and client-side scripting (Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions)

  • Experience developing and maintaining ITSM, CSM, and/or custom scoped applications.

Who Are You?

  • You can deliver in small pieces as you go, while still thinking about how they fit into the whole.

  • You welcome change as a positive (instead of viewing it as “rework”) and never consider anything you deliver “final.”

  • Although you understand that what you deliver may not be complete, you never knowingly deliver something that is wrong or of poor quality.

  • You actively contribute to a learning team culture, offering and receiving feedback with curiosity and respect.

  • Comfortable collaborating within a Scrum Team

  • Capable of both deciding next actions, and knowing when the decision requires sign offfrom management.

  • Thrives in a dynamic work environment

  • Communicates clearly to express and share ideas to business leaders with a non-technical background

  • Flexible and open to working collaboratively within a group, actively networking with others, and providing varying feedback to the team at the appropriate time to ensure that decisions stick.

In order to be considered eligible for this opportunity, you must be a US Citizen and reside in the US.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
